The Natural Resource Investment Grant helps landowners implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) that improve farming efficiency, enhance water quality, and support wildlife conservation.

This program offers financial assistance to support a variety of conservation measures.

Examples of BMPs supported by the NRI Grant:

• Precision Agriculture: Using advanced technology to optimize fertilizer and pesticide application, reduce waste, and increase yields.
• Heavy-Use Areas: Establishing durable surfaces in high-traffic zones to minimize soil compaction and erosion.
• Fencing and Pipelines: Protecting riparian zones and creating offsite livestock watering facilities to reduce environmental impact.
• Vegetative Buffers: Planting native vegetation to filter runoff, stabilize soil, and provide wildlife habitat.
